Inuvik, Canada - I've wanted to fly in a Twin Otter ever since I saw a video on Gordon Wiltsie's expeditions into Antarctica. I finally got the chance on this trip and it was a fascinating experience flying in one of these planes just a few hundred feet above ground and landing on a frozen river. When I got out, I dusted the snow off the "landing strip" and shined my flashlight down through the ice. I could see the water flowing underneath.
